Anthony Mandler
Anthony Mandler (born April 18, 1973) is best known for his work
directing film, music videos, and television as well as being a
photographer. His work in the music industry has made him one of the
most renowned music video directors, working with the likes of Jay-Z,
Beyoncè, Eminem, Usher, Shakira, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin
Bieber, 50 Cent and many more.
His most frequent collaborator is Rihanna. Mandler has worked on sixteen
music videos with the singer. There work together began in 2006 with
the shooting of "Unfaithful" and has run all the way up to there most
recent project, "Diamonds", in 2012.
Mandler began his career as a photographer, he's working having been featured on the covers of major magazines including GQ, Esquire and Men's Health. His has also made many several celebrity portraits for clients such as David Beckham and Lebron James.
