Strobe lights are normally used in club anthems and hip hop music videos to give the feel that this song is a party song. also the strobe lights are used to match the rhythm and beat of the song and normally appear during the chorus of the song.

CGI is normally used to create bright coloured backgrounds and futuristic sets during music videos and is proven to be very popular as many music artists use it for their videos such as Katy Perry - E.T and Flo Rida - Right Round.

CGI is mostly used in music videos that have a high budget as they can afford to use it for their videos. Because of this it is mainly the top artists that use CGI as they can afford to use it regularly.
